MEET THE TEAM
The Safina Lion Conservation Fund is made up of a small team of five trustees each with different strengths from a passion for conservation and the natural world, working with lions in zoos, experience in finance management to experience working with small committees for charitable causes. We believe that together we can work to achieve our mission and charitable objectives to the best of our ability and we look forward to sharing with you all our ideas for the future.

As well as working as a close team, we also have a committee of conservation advisors who offer feedback on the strategic work and the conservation projects that we plan to support. These advisors all have different skills, like our trustees, that are valuable to our work. These advisors all have different backgrounds, from research, the zoo industry and education but all have experience with the conservation of wildlife. By working with other experienced individuals we aim to ensure that the work we carry out is fulfilling our objectives to the best of our ability. We believe that we can only have a chance of saving the lion if we all work together by accepting the knowledge and experience of others and working with other individuals and organisations all working towards the same goal.
